For the last few years if you have wanted to eliminate the signs of aging like wrinkles, sagging skin and other lines then it is more than likely you would consider using botox as the treatment of choice but a great many people do not know exactly what it is. Now botox is injected into a number of areas, one of which is the forehead to help lessen the effect of years of the muscles here causing frown lines to appear. In many cases the lines eventually disappear completely but botox can also be injected into the muscles of the face that cause crows feet, forehead lines and frown lines.

To allay any fears about injection toxin into our bodies; these injections only contain a diluted and purified version of the poison that can make us very sick. The popularity of botox is due to the fact that we all have wrinkles and lines when we smile, laugh and make other facial gestures which are the result of muscles in the face.

Some will be happy that the people who can afford botox treatments are still the wealthy and with individual treatments in the low to very high hundreds of dollars it looks to remain that way.

It may be a few years yet before we see the result of long term use of botox but that doesn’t seem to concern those people who are using it now.
